Melissa and Josh (Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key, respectively) have been together for several years but are in a rut. When Jon Watts’ third standalone Spider-Man film, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” concludes, the Tom Holland-starring mini-franchise has set a course for a brand-new start for the so-called Spider-Verse. Without getting too spoiler-y — which, yes, might be a bit silly when it comes to unpacking the literal last scenes of the film, which we will do below — the film ends with Peter Parker striking out on his own, after convincing Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a spell to make everyone (everyone) forget who he is....

The seductive new trailer for “The Idol,” the latest series by Sam Levinson, HBO, and A24 shows Depp writhing her way to stardom as a pop singer in desperate need of a hit. “Give ’em what they love,” Depp is advised, while Tesfaye explains that Los Angeles is where “all the monsters of the world” are created. Depp falls under the spell of Tesfaye’s coke-fueled wellness guru in the latest sneak peek at the highly-anticipated series....

For “The Northman” actor and producer Alexander Skarsgård, making what our critic called “a primal, sinewy, gnarly-as-fuck 10th-century action epic” has been a long-held dream. The Swedish star always had a soft spot for Viking and Norse mythology, and armed with director Robert Eggers and an estimated $90 million budget, he’s finally got his big, bold Viking movie. Focus Features, who is distributing “The Northman,” has partnered with gaming company Loaded on a new video game inspired by Eggers’ film. “Vengeance: Inspired By ‘The Northman’” is a new role playing game containing 20 hours of content that is hidden within the massively popular game “Fortnite.” “Fortnite” players can access the viking game by entering a code, and Loaded is also enlisting top video game influencers to play through the game on YouTube and Twitch....

While “The Godfather” films are an iconic trilogy in film history, the behind-the-scenes making of them is an epic story in itself. Speaking with Collider about his science-fiction shows “Upload” and “Space Force,” Daniels was once again asked the inevitable question about potentially reviving “The Office.” He refused to rule out the idea, and admitted that NBC executives would likely be thrilled if he decided to do it. But Daniels was adamant that any revival would look very different from the original series. Rather than a continuation of the lives of Pam and Jim and Dwight, he envisions a potential reboot of “The Office” as a continuation of the world of the show....
